2025 marks our 10th year in Watchland. 10 years, who would have thought it - from that disappointing experience when I opened the caseback of my fashion quartz watch to releasing a Special Edition dive watch to mark this milestone - all in the blink of an eye.
At HQ we talk about this 10th year as being a line in the sand for Marloe Watch Company - I suppose this allows us to reflect on how far we’ve come, to honour the watches that have defined our journey, and to set our sights firmly on the future with a renewed sense of purpose and ambition.
The arrival of the Daytimer marked the beginning of this transition - a watch that truly encapsulates who we are and what we stand for. With its exceptional quality and distinctive design, it set a new benchmark for Marloe, and we couldn't be more proud of it. From there, we introduced the refined Coniston Auto Trackday and CN7, followed by the Sceptre Commander. And now, despite a few delays, we eagerly anticipate the launch of our new flagship collection - the Morar 310 - ushering in an exciting pipeline of future releases. A new chapter in Marloe’s Watchland journey has begun.
One conversation we often return to is about the watches that have shaped our trajectory - the Cherwell, Coniston, Astro, and GMT - each playing a crucial role in our evolution. But we also acknowledge that not every model has been received as we might have hoped, and that’s okay. As designers, we know that not everything we create will resonate with everyone - and that’s all part of the process.
In recent weeks, we’ve had to make some tough decisions, and today, we bid farewell to a few cherished models that have meant so much to us - and to you. Once remaining stocks are sold, our beloved 'wee tank,' the Tay collection, will be retired. The Sceptre Aggron and October will also be discontinued.
Additionally, a couple of our limited edition watches are approaching the end of their shelf life - something we continually monitor here at HQ (I could discuss this in great detail, but will spare you!). Unlike perishable goods, mechanical watches remain in perfect condition in our stockroom, with their oils and lubricants intact. Instead, this is a matter of cash flow; when a watch reaches a certain age, we assess its sales trajectory and determine the best course of action.
With that in mind, we've identified the GMT Night and Coniston Auto Black Edition as two models under review - watches that have shaped our journey - pieces that have defined Marloe - and rather than letting them sit on our shelves, we want them to be where they belong: on your wrists, accompanying you through life’s moments.
For these reasons we're excited to announce a special end-of-line sale, giving all the watches mentioned above the chance to be worn, enjoyed and appreciated - trusted companions for years to come.
Making space for what’s next allows us to step into the future while looking back at these models with fondness and gratitude.
Take a look at our end-of-line sale - this is the final opportunity to own these models before they’re gone for good.
Here’s to the next chapter.
