Road to Morar - Part 2

Road to Morar - Part 2

The motivation to go under the waves has always been an integral part of human existence, for we emerged from the sea.

In this, our first live-streamed episode of our new series Road to Morar, Gordon takes us on a brief history tour, starting at the Ancient Greeks and their desire to bathe a little bit better, through the Silk Road, The Age of Discovery and the advent of seafaring trade.

From here he discusses the motivations to go under the ocean waves through rudimentary technologies that developed over the decades to arrive, as we know and understand it, with diving. Gordon discusses what diving means in 2022 and what that means for dive watches in general. Some technical requirements of dive watches, the ISO 6425:2018 standard and much more are discussed in detail before concluding with a nice question and answer session.
