The Devil's In The Detail

This edition of the Haskell collection is a little different - the case is matte blasted to give it a rock-like appearance - the smooth surface highlighting the geometry of the Haskell design beautifully.

For the Global we’ve introduced a contrasting outer scallop to the dial in an off-white colour with grey-green markings. This same colouring is carried across the dial with matte paint complemented with gloss varnished longitude and latitude lines - invisible in most lighting conditions, but bursting into life when caught at the right angle and serving as a fleeting reminder of the planet which we are fighting to protect. Outlined numerals keep the dial clean and legible.

The hour and minute hands borrow the same finish of the casing - a clean matte blasted steel - with white tips, and the seconds hand is pure white. Each hand features Superluminova fill for low-light legibility. We’ve kept the alternative Marloe branding and the chamfered date window, to keep the Global looking and wearing unobtrusive, yet functional.

Design Details

We've printed subtle, almost imperceptible longitude and latitude lines on the main dial - a continued theme from our special edition Haskells.

UNIQUE CASING

CASEBACK

On the caseback we've featured a map of the world centred on the prime meridian. The oceans stand proud of the land - a reminder of rising ocean levels as a result of climate change.

SWISS MADE

We've specified the Swiss Made Sellita SW-215-1 manual winding mechanical movement for the Global. It’s a petite movement at 25.6mm in diameter, a mere sliver at 3.35mm thick and when fully wound will run for over 40 hours.

CLASSIC SIZING

The case of the Haskell measures 40mm in diameter, a comfortable size for most wrists, and features 20mm lugs - a classic sizing combination. From caseback to crystal is a comfortable depth of 9.4mm, whilst the 48mm lug-to-lug sizing complements the case perfectly.
