Featuring a colour-matched British Standard BS356 Golden Yellow sapphire bezel with tri-colour paint fill of white, black and red. We have continued the use of the Golden Yellow under the crystal on the running seconds hand, itself inspired by the Sea King’s rotor blades, and on the ‘310’ motif at 6 o’clock. The rest of the dial features a textured black base, white printed marks and polished steel appliqué, hand set and bezel pip.

The Gold King is directly inspired by the bright yellow SAR helicopter of Gordon’s youth, watching at airshows and along coastlines as the lumbering, toy-like shape of the iconic Westland Wessex and Sea King roared past. The case of the Morar 310 is formed from 316L marine grade stainless steel, with a unidirectional bezel insert made from ceramic - one of the hardest materials around. This unity of ultra-hard materials makes the watch incredibly tough - and at only 41.9mm in diameter and a little over 12mm thick, petite enough to slip under a cuff.
