This Trade Lomond Vintage Vanilla is in good condition with marks to the case but a brand new crystal fitted, on original Brown Ribbed Horween Leather Strap. Unfortunately there is no literature with this watch and it is not in the original box - it comes with a new MWC box.

All Marketplace watches have been serviced, reconditioned and come with a Certificate of Authenticity and a new 12-month warranty.

The Devil's in the detail

The Lomond Chronoscope is a manual mechanical wristwatch that includes a “Stop-watch” feature, a telemeter scale, exhibition case-back and 4 colourways. Sized at 43mm and 11mm thick, it's a bold looking watch with exceptional detail.

We wanted to create a timepiece that had a foot in both the traditional and the contemporary, with a strikingly different yet reassuringly familiar design. For the Lomond we kept some elements of our earlier designs whilst developing a timepiece that feels unique, not just in our own range but in the market it exists. This is a complicated mechanical timepiece, offering both accurate timekeeping and accurate time measurement, therefore the design needs to reflect the requirement for the additional information, whilst remaining true to our core belief of essentials only, clutter free design. The case size is kept in check and proportioned to be a daily-wear, any event timepiece.

Built to perform

The hidden gem, the wonderful secret. There’s something palpable when you watch someone turn the Lomond Chronoscope over to reveal the open window to the engine within. The oscillating balance wheel, the three central wheels all moving in synch, the shimmer of gold, blue and ruby all encapsulated under the sapphire case-back. Perimeter printing on the underside reveals a few details whilst adding its own interest with transparent text within a black border. A true showpiece, unseen when in use but gloriously revealed at your chosing.
