The successor to the original Morar is a professional level dive watch featuring a 310m depth rating, helium release valve, anti-magnetic protection, sacrificial crown guards, bright luminous paint and sapphire crystal.

Dive watches rocketed in popularity in this guise of black, white and steel, and have continued to be loved and revered in this colourway, and you know what, we love it too. There was a challenge to being unique whilst deploying this monochrome palette. Luckily for us the Morar 310 is already an exclusive design, and even with the glossy ceramic bezel, white markings and steel hardware, it still feels uniquely Marloe.

EXTREMELY CAPABLE

The Morar 310 is, without a shadow of a doubt, a dive watch. It features a comprehensive depth rating, anti-magnetic protection, screw-down crown, sacrificial crown-guards, ceramic and sapphire bezel inserts, sapphire crystal, remarkably bright luminous paint, a bullet-proof movement and a case design that is every bit the tank it needs to be to survive the depths where humans cannot.

But it's more than just a dive watch - it's an extremely capable, go anywhere, do anything watch, inspired by the Search & Rescue world - a place where equipment needs to perform flawlessly. The Morar 310 doesn't pander to stereotypes or pull any punches when it comes to its raison d'être. This is no jewel for waving about at the local golf club. It's a professional tool, designed for maximum performance, that also happens to look so good that you can wear it at a desk, in the pub, or any other place you can think of, including the air, the land and the sea.

CLASSIC DESIGN

The Onyx's monochrome colourway, synonymous with dive watches since the ‘50s, still feels uniquely Marloe.

Lume Pip

We designed a lume pip as a separate part of the bezel that threads through the insert; this allowed for a tube with which the luminous compound could be filled, maximising mass and providing an incredible reference point.

CERAMIC BEZEL

Ceramic, like 316L steel and sapphire crystal, is tough. It is phenomenal at compression resistance - point blows glance off its surface like armour. Yet it's rich in pigment and looks gorgeous.

SUPERLUMINOVA

The Morar 310 features Swiss Superluminova C1BL/GL luminous compound on hands and dial for powerful brightness at any depth.

HELIUM RELEASE

As a serious dive watch, the Morar 310 uses a helium release valve to endure deep-sea environments and maintain reliability.

CAGE

To protect the movement within from magnetism, we've constructed a cage of soft iron, shielding it from interference and keeping your watch ticking.

Rifled Bezel

We developed a unique tapering grip design that prioritises feel at the edge of the bezel, whilst affording grip enough to turn regardless of where the fingers are placed.

Small Batch

Our watches are produced in small batches and each watch is finished with a unique serial number.

One of our favourite young British brands, Marloe watches cannot be matched for great British value

Marloe caught our eye for two reasons - one, their care and craftsmanship, and two, their thoroughly reasonable prices

If all else fails

Nowadays, with the advent of digital dive computers and modern technology, the dive watch is more of a back-up - a final resort if all else fails. For most, it’s a beautiful object to wear and show off, and with the black-and-white colourway, it’s something of a universal watch - it can be worn casually, formally and everything in between, as well as down to 310 metres under the waves.

ANTI-MAGNETIC CAGE

Inside your Morar 310 is a movement that is susceptible to magnetic interference. Credit card readers, computer hard drives, door catches, leather folios or anything that has a magnet inside it can, if placed beside your hairspring, cause it to stick together. This adversely affects the accuracy of your watch.

Why not surround the movement in a cage of soft iron, to repel any magnetic interference and keep the movement ticking accurately no matter what the environment?

Well, we did.

Built for the Harshest Environments

The case of the Morar 310 is formed from 316L marine grade stainless steel, with a unidirectional bezel insert made from ceramic - one of the hardest materials around. This unity of ultra-hard materials makes the watch incredibly tough - and at only 41.9mm in diameter and a little over 12mm thick, petite enough to slip under a cuff.
